Well that was the news this morning, but the official news this afternoon states it's more of an advertising deal, a la Google and Myspace.
Regardless, the best part of the story was in the comments at the bottom:
"We had social networking when I was in my twenties, it was called a "bar" and they were hot for about 6 months, then a new one came along...."
